Turkey Tax Information

As of 1 January 2018, Vultr charges a 20% Value Added Tax (VAT) to customers with a tax location in Turkey.

This complies with the Government of Turkey’s change on 1 January 2018 to the VAT rules for sales of electronic services for consideration to non-VAT registered individuals by electronic services for consideration to non-VAT registered individuals by electronic services providers who do not have residence.

The VAT charge does not affect business-to-business sales. In these cases, the reverse charge mechanism is still in effect. Registered business users who add a valid VAT ID to their the billing page of the customer portal after logging into your Vultr Account are exempt.
