Nigeria Tax Information

As of 1 December 2021, Vultr charges a 7.5% Value Added Tax (VAT) to customers with a tax location in Nigeria.

This complies with the Nigeria tax regime under Value Added Tax Act Cap V1, LFN 2004 (as amended). Non-resident companies like Vultr who provide services to Nigerian customers are required to charge, collect VAT and remit to the FIRS. See the Nigeria government website for more information.

The VAT charge doesn’t affect business-to-business transactions, so if you are a business customer, please provide your GST number, and we will not charge you the GST tax.
