The Republic of Korea (South Korea) Tax Information

As of 1 March 2020, Vultr charges a 10% Value Added Tax (VAT) to customers with a tax location in the Republic of Korea.

The government of the Republic of Korea introduced a registration requirement for non- resident companies that supply taxable services to customers located in the Republic of Korea introduced 1 July 2019.

Accordingly, services provided by Vultr are subject to VAT and apply to non-VAT registered persons at the standard rate of 10%. However, this VAT charge doesn’t affect business-to-business sales once you input your valid VAT ID into your customer profile.
