Iceland Tax Information

As of 1 July 2019, Vultr charges a 24% Value Added Tax (VAT) to customers with a tax location in Iceland.

This complies with Iceland’s requirements for non-resident companies like Vultr.

If you are a non-business customer who resides in Iceland, your invoice will include tax.

If you are a business customer who resides in Iceland, you can add your registered VAT ID to your Vultr account located on the billing page of the customer portal after logging into your Vultr Account. Once Added, Vultr will not charge VAT on your subsequent invoices. But you will need to self-assess VAT under the Iceland reverse charge mechanism (RCM).
