Vultr High Performance and Regular Performance Cloud Compute instances are billed based on hourly usage. The number of hours in monthly calculations is capped at 672 hours per month, and the minimum billing unit is one hour.

Egress bandwidth beyond generous included free bandwidth allocations is priced at a consistent $0.01/GB worldwide.

What operating systems are available?

Do stopped instances incur charges?

Yes, instances in a stopped state continue to reserve dedicated system resources (RAM, SSD storage, IP addresses, and vCPU) and therefore incur charges until the virtual machine is destroyed.

How much does it cost to enable automatic backups?

An instance with automatic backups enabled will have a 20% higher base monthly/hourly fee.

Does Vultr charge for stored snapshots?
