If you are on the main dashboard of your SWPanel account, go to the left menu and select the option "Activate SWPanel Self-Hosted" to begin the activation process.
Upon activating SWPanel, you will encounter three installation options for your server:
This is the easiest method, perfect for users who want a quick and hassle-free installation. You only need to provide the following server information:
Server IP
SSH Port
Root Password
After entering the details, click on "Verify server connection." If the connection is successful, a confirmation message will appear. Then, accept the liability disclaimer by checking the appropriate box. SWPanel will automatically begin the installation and activation process without requiring manual intervention.
This method is for advanced users who prefer to install SWPanel directly from the server's console. You will need to manually run the SWPanel installer and follow the steps outlined in the installation wizard. Once the process is complete, a Token ID will be generated, which must be entered into SWPanel to complete the license activation.
For detailed instructions on this procedure, refer to the manual available at this link.
If you have already completed the installation of SWPanel Self-Hosted on your server, the next step is to activate the license using the Token ID. This code is automatically generated during the installation process and is required to link your server with the Self-Hosted mode of SWPanel.
The Token ID is compatible with servers running Debian 12 or higher versions, regardless of the service provider (Cloud, VPS, etc.). To proceed, enter the Token ID in the corresponding field and click on "Verify Token ID" to confirm its validity and continue with the license activation.
Once you have chosen the installation method for SWPanel, the final step is to license the server.
Next, you will need to select the SWPanel license mode that best suits your needs. The available options include licenses for servers with different capabilities and features.
If you already have a license code acquired through a reseller or integrator, select this option and enter the code in the corresponding field.
Finally, accept the terms and conditions of the license agreement and click "Activate SWPanel now" to complete the activation process.
