MinIO® is an object storage server, compatible with Amazon S3 cloud storage service, mainly used for storing unstructured data (such as photos, videos, log files, etc.).

You'll see two sets of credentials on that screen.
admin
account and your unique password in the Web Console to log in to your admin panel. bitnami
account with the password bitnami
to log in to the server via the web console. You'll be prompted to change you password the first time you log in. Minio requires additional configuration before it can be started:
bitnami
. If this is your first login, the password is bitnami
. Optionally, point your VM's IP (use.your.ip) to a domain and run the Bitnami HTTPS Configuration tool to generate an HTTPS certificate:
$ sudo /opt/bitnami/bncert-tool --domains example.com
SSH is disabled by default on this application. To enable SSH:
bitnami
. If this is your first login, the password is bitnami
. If you prefer the nano text editor over vim, install nano.
$ sudo apt install nano
Otherwise, substitute vim in the command below.
Edit the SSH configuration file.
$ sudo nano /etc/ssh/sshd_confi
Find the #PasswordAuthentication yes
line and remove the comment character. When finished, it should look like this:
PasswordAuthentication yes
Save and exit the file.
Enable the SSH service.
$ sudo rm -f /etc/ssh/sshd_not_to_be_run
$ sudo systemctl enable --now ssh
You can now connect to the server with SSH. Use your bitnami
account and password.
