1. By signing up for text messaging and opting into Vultr’s SMS program, you agree to receive and send text messages to the number associated with your account. Signing up for text messaging and opting into Vultr’s SMS program does not guarantee approval of Services. Text messages may include, for example, 2FA codes during login, additional security verifications, messages to and from support staff, status updates regarding deployed infrastructure at Vultr, and account alerts such as billing and security notifications.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code and we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to opt-in again, just sign up as you did the first time to receive SMS messages again.
3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at (973) 849-0500.
4. Carriers and Vultr are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Message frequency varies. One message per request for 2FA codes. If you have opted in to receive SMS updates, you will receive messages when (a) you interact with the Vultr platform, and (b) there are service impacting events.
6. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. We do not charge for these services, however, you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
