We're growing quickly and need your help to commission new TOR switches and IP Transit circuits, troubleshoot LACP bundles, improve BGP Routing and much more.     Qualifications

    • 7+ years experience with large network administration
    • Expertise with production router software upgrades
    • Expertise with graceful core router migrations
    • Experience with Linux/Unix
    • Comprehensive experience with practical Internet routing using eBGP
    • ISP Core routing experience
    • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of LAN technologies and topologies, including VLANs, 802.1Q, 802.3ad, and LACP

    Vultr is a leading tech company and provides highly automated, high performance cloud computing services. Vultr has been around since 2001 and operates a global footprint providing virtual machines and on-demand bare metal servers across 15 datacenters.

    The Senior Accountant will be responsible for corporate-wide revenue recognition accounting, reporting and related internal controls. This position includes all aspects of the general ledger including month end close, some FP&A work and multiple audits. Duties include, but are not exhaustive:

    • Assist, review work of a team in completing period, quarter and annual closing of the financials.
    • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
    • Reconcile e-commerce payments and chargebacks to general ledger system.
    • Process and file US sales tax filings, international VAT, GST, and other consumption taxes.
    • Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
    • Be the lead person in the annual audit of the company, prepare the footnotes and ensure timeliness of the report.
    • Ensure compliance with all existing controls and Company policies.
    • Propose and implement process improvements.
    • Respond to employee inquiries pertaining to payroll.
    • Technical accounting research.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
    • 5-8 years’ experience in accounting with knowledge of processing payroll for a multi-state company.
    • 2 years in public accounting preferred.
    • CPA or CMA certification a plus.
